Get your own spotlight in the VITA copenhagen Universe. You will be a part of one of the fastest growing companies in Denmark and you will be the Communication and PR Manager in the VITA Creative – a bright and upbeat team of designers, graphic designers, video and communication professionals and aficionados.
We are looking for a creative, dedicated and structured storyteller with experience and flair in Communication & PR, Social Media and Marketing, and with a passion for Danish design. You will be the force and drive behind the internal and external communication activities, both for online and the offline world.
To succeed in the job, it is essential that you can work both at an operational and strategic level, and that you are a fast and sound storyteller, with the ability and drive to multitask overlapping assignments, tight deadlines and shifting priorities. Your daily tasks will include the following:
Content development & storytelling
Develop and execute internal and external communication & PR strategies.
Create, coordinate and manage a variety of communications activities, including writing and distributing engaging and solid brand stories, press releases, product descriptions, blog posts, copywriting, newsletters, user guides, etc.
Develop and manage procedures and workflows for the content life cycle.
Coordinate the dissemination of written materials to various internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor and evaluate communication effectiveness.
Work with managers, Sales, Graphics, and Design teams for developing the brand strategy, workflow, and processes.
Assist the organization with writing related tasks.
Edit and proofread articles and other relevant content.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers, in order to ensure the maximum positive coverage on an “earned media” principle.
Coordinate press activities with public relations agencies.
Handle media inquiries and articles requests from international press.
Participate at different events and be the press contact person.
Create and coordinate digital content using various digital publishing tools.
Expand the online audience through content and community management.
Develop and implement online marketing campaigns on website and social media channels.
Analyse and optimize the website and social media content based on channel performance, digital trends and SEO techniques, in order to ensure constant online growth.
A minimum of 3+ years of relevant communication or PR experience, preferably from the design or fashion industry.
Academic background in Communication, Public Relations, Media, Journalism or Marketing.
Outstanding writing, editing, and verbal communication skills are a must.
Coordination and leadership skills, as you will be in charge of coordinating 1-2 colleagues.
Ability to write solid, engaging stories on short notice, either with a creative or technical focus.
Ability to multitask overlapping assignments, tight deadlines, and shifting priorities.
Hands on experience and computer proficiency with Microsoft software and e-marketing channels, including social media platforms and publishing tools, as well as CMS-systems.
Positive, casual, and self-driven attitude, where stamina and creativity are your innate traits.
Ability to work independently as well as in interdisciplinary teams.
Willingness to travel and represent the company reflecting the highest professional standards.
This is a full-time position, effective as soon as possible. Salary as well as terms and conditions can be negotiated individually at a level that matches your qualifications and skills.
